We’re currently on the lookout for an Electric Vehicle Service Technician who will perform a critical role in developing and executing service, repairs and troubleshooting on heavy-duty commercial truck Class 8 Battery Electric Vehicle (EV), and Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (FCEV), as we help bring this exciting technology to market.
Job Summary:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and provide remedy solutions for repair of electrical systems and components on commercial trucks.
- Must be able to identify and evaluate root cause malfunctions using electronic tools, schematics and other trouble shooting methods.
- Be able to demonstrate proper communication methods to the team and effectively explain truck conditions, truck status and recommendations, to clients, associates, and management.
This position will support both EV/FCEV product lines at multiple locations in the northeast, based out of Livonia, MI. The position will work within a team to provide excellence in service to our clients. The candidate should preferably have a minimum of 18 months in the heavy-duty trucking industry or related field. This Position also requires an understanding of chassis, braking, electrical and HVAC systems.
